Research and science

Throughout the years, the institute for regeneration research has established itself as a platform for research and interactive dialogue between university medicine and natural medicine. Renowned university professors and the doctors at Lanserhof exchange information and experiences on diverse aspects of preventative and regenerative medicine.

Supported by our ambitious research activities, we can achieve the following:

• Dialogue between naturopathy and university medicine is promoted.
• From an ever more complex range of therapies, the most well-founded are identified and optimized.
• Reproducible standards for an efficient and modern form of regeneration medicine are established.
• Doctors interested in this field are trained.
• A subsequent network of the best and most innovative elements for the benefit of the patient is created.

To date, the following studies have been carried out at the Institute for Regeneration Research at Lans:

•„Regeneration and functional improvement of cells through medically controlled fasting”.

•„The effects of an alkaline mineral aggregate mixture on the organism during standardized nutritional conditions in the course of a therapy according to Dr. F.X. Mayr”.

•„Changes in symptoms, clinical measurement data and laboratory findings as a result of a therapy according to Dr. F. X. Mayr”.

•„Hypertension, a metabolic illness?”.

•„The influences of a regeneration therapy according to Dr. F.X. Mayr on the intestinal microflora and the immune system”.

•„The effects of a mineral water containing sodium hydrogen carbonate on the human organism during a therapy according to Dr. F.X. Mayr”.

•„Respiratory feedback and psychological consultation in the course of a fasting and regeneration therapy according to Dr. F.X. Mayr”.

•„Changes in a condition caused by an intestinal candidose as a result of therapy according to Dr. F.X. Mayr”.

•„The effects of multiple years of Lanserhof regeneration therapies on body mass index, blood pressure and laboratory parameters“ (retrospective long-term study). This extensive study revelaed that as a result of yearly periods of regeneration therapy at Lanserhof, the risk parameters are reduced and consequently an enduring and sustained improvement in health is achieved.

•„Andropause, how significant is the male menopause?”

•„Changes of neopterin, fermenting acids and alcohol in feces, saliva and urine during a therapy according to F.X.MAYR” (the first study worldwide of neopterin in feces and saliva as a very sensitive parameter for irritations, inflammation and risk of tumour)
